CONCLUSION OF CONTRACT
(in accordance with the current case law of Niebüll Local Court)
The accommodation contract becomes binding once the apartment has been booked by telephone, in writing, by fax or email and the booking has been confirmed by telephone, in writing, by fax or email.
Entering into the accommodation contract obliges both parties to fulfil the contract, regardless of the length of the agreed stay.
Under the law, you are not released from paying the rent if you cannot use the accommodation for personal reasons, such as illness or work or family commitments. However, the owner must deduct saved expenses (usually 10% of the rent) and any income from letting it to someone else. You may therefore have to pay 90% of the rent even if you cannot use the accommodation. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance, which is not included in the rental price.
PAYMENT
Please refer to our booking confirmation and invoice for details.
NUMBER OF GUESTS
Additional guests are only permitted up to the stated maximum occupancy of the accommodation. Every additional guest must be agreed with us in good time before the rental period begins.
ADDITIONAL COSTS
Nightly rates include utilities (electricity, water and heating), final cleaning and linen.
PETS
You need our permission to bring a dog. If permission is granted, we expect the dog to remain quiet, not be left loose unattended, leave no mess and not sleep on beds or seating. Other pets are not allowed. A one-off fee of €50 is charged per dog.
CLEANING
Apartments must be left swept clean on departure. We reserve the right to charge additional costs if an apartment is excessively dirty.
DEFECTS AND DAMAGE
Please report any damage or other defects in the accommodation or furnishings, including cleanliness, at the start of your stay so that we can remedy them. Otherwise, we assume you found the accommodation entirely satisfactory. Damage caused by you or your companions during your stay must be reported immediately and kept to a minimum; the tenant named in the contract bears full liability. Parents are liable for their children.
KEYS & ARRIVAL
On arrival, keys can be collected from 4 pm and all keys must be returned by 10 am on departure. If a key to a locking system is lost, the full cost of a new locking system must be paid.
OTHER PROVISIONS
Please observe the guest information provided in the accommodation.
SEVERABILITY
If a clause of this contract is invalid, this does not affect the validity of the remaining clauses. The parties undertake to replace the invalid clause without delay with a valid clause that comes as close as possible to its intended meaning.
